HELP Foundation, in collaboration with Ready Pakistan, Welthungerhilfe and GFFO, successfully organized an extensive capacity-building training program for Emergency Response Teams (ERTs).
During this program, 10 dynamic groups comprising 120 dedicated individuals were trained in first aid treatment, fire safety, and advanced search & rescue techniques.

These teams were carefully selected from flood-affected communities of District Bahawalnagar, an area that has repeatedly suffered due to natural disasters. With the technical expertise of Rescue 1122, participants not only learned lifesaving skills but also gained the confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.

The core objective of this initiative was to equip and empower local youth and volunteers so that they can act as frontline responders, saving lives and protecting their communities when disasters strike.

By the conclusion of the training, participants demonstrated strong teamwork, leadership qualities, and practical emergency response skills. Each member was also provided with first aid kits to ensure they are ready to serve their communities in real-life crisis situations.

This training marked a major step towards building resilience and disaster preparedness, ensuring that vulnerable communities are no longer helpless in times of crisis but are instead better equipped, organized, and empowered to respond.
